Pastor Jason joined the team here at Calvary Bible Church in May of 2023. He was born in Glens Falls, NY but raised in Bacon Hill, NY. As a teen he was very involved in church and served several summers as a CEF summer missionary. God used this experience to arouse a love for ministry. Jason attended Lancaster Bible College to prepare for full time ministry and during that time he felt God’s call to pastoral ministry.
At LBC Jason met Andrea and they were married in the spring of 2002. The Lord has blessed them with 6 sons, Samuel, Henry, Paul, Thomas, Benjamin, and Evan. Pastor Jason loves to help people find hope in Jesus and His word and work together for God’s glory. He enjoys road trips with his family, hotdogs with the works, and Louis L’ Amour westerns. Romans 15:13, 2 Corinthians 4:17 and Proverbs 14:4 are his “three strand rope” as he presses on to “lay hold of that for which also [he] was laid of by Christ Jesus.”

Nate (Liz) Swanger
My name is Nate Swanger. I am currently 33 and live in Hanover with my wife of 8 years, Liz, and 2 daughters, Elliot and Teagan. I work for Coca-Cola as an account manager, and Liz works for SEK as an administrative assistant. Our daughters are currently 4 and pretty much take up most of our free time. When I do get a chance to do something else, I enjoy running, golf, and disc golfing at Codorus. I also enjoy reading, music and a bunch of other sports as well.
My service in the church involves helping in the youth group as a youth leader and leading the Sunday School for the Teens. I have always had a passion for teaching, and went to Millerville University where I received my Bachelor’s in Secondary Education. Things may not have worked out as I had planned, but God’s plan is greater. I have had so much joy working with the youth group and, hopefully, being a good influence in instructing them with God’s Word.
